Directing a Later Living Property Film: A Two-Day Journey of Creativity and Collaboration

Dominic John, Agnieszka Kocinska & Rob Shears

Over the past few days, I have been entirely immersed in an exhilarating project which required all hands on deck. It's this very reason that might have made me seem a little quieter on social media of late. I had the pleasure of directing a film shoot for a later living property which was not only engaging but also extremely rewarding.

One of the unique aspects of any film project is the immediate bond and camaraderie that develops among the crew. Each person brings a different skill set, perspective, and personality to the table. Over the course of the past two days, our shared passion for storytelling and crafting visually stunning narratives transformed the set into a hub of creativity and collaboration.

The project was a whirlwind of laughter, brainstorming sessions, detailed planning, and execution. What added more joy to the process was the shared commitment of everyone involved. Each crew member demonstrated unwavering dedication to their role, creating a seamless workflow that led to the successful wrap of our shoot.

Although I didn’t manage to capture too many behind-the-scenes photos due to the immersive nature of the project, I did manage to take a few that give a glimpse into the bustling activity and team spirit that was integral to the shoot.

To say that I'm incredibly grateful for the opportunity to work with such an amazing crew would be an understatement. Every single individual involved brought their A-game and helped translate our vision into reality. For that, I extend my deepest appreciation. Here’s to teamwork, creativity, and the magic of filmmaking!

I’m excited to share more about this project in the coming weeks. Stay tuned for some sneak peeks and the final product – I can't wait to show you what we've been working on!
